  Mr (Ryan) Murphy was an outstanding help today at the bank. He helped me set up accounts, and everything else I needed to do quickly and effectively. He gave me the time I needed.
  
  Overall, I was very happy with this bank, in particular Mr Murphy. He should be commended on his outstanding ability to solve my issues quickly and effectively.

  Very poor customer service. Called multiple times over a two week period to make an appointment and received no callback.
  Took a day off work to go into the branch and made an appointment at the front desk. Was told to wait twenty minutes and come back.
  Upon returning we waited another forty minutes inside the branch before being approached by a banking manager who said that the appointment before us had taken longer than expected.
  I was then told that the appointment after mine would be next and I would have to wait another thirty minutes.
  I asked then how is it possible to make an appointment if they don’t answer phones, return calls or take appointments serious made at the branch, to which they had no answer.
  If you ever have to do any banking in person do yourself a favour and change to a different bank. Westpac Miranda has made it impossible to achieve even the smallest of your banking needs.
  Needless to say I will be finding another bank, closing all of my accounts and credit lines and changing to someone that takes their customers seriously.

  Possibly the rudest people I have ever come across. Phone operator wanted to argue about who and how to close our deceased relatives account...(we have complete power of attorney) Disgraceful.

  I was using a westpac deposit ATM to deposit around $1600 to my account. I selected the cardless deposit option and went through the usual process. I got an error message a few seconds later stating that the ATM didn't accept some of my notes. It spit out a whole bunch at once, which I took, and the rest started coming out one by one.
  
  After i took the money that was not deposited, i tried to do it one more time, thinking it would take it the second time. But when i entered the money, it spitted the money again and the atm screen went back to home. I could not press anything, no try again, no finish deposit nothing. I was in a shock, it was my hard earned money. It didn’t even printed out any receipts. I panicked and tried to look for a staff inside the westpac to help me but my bad luck they were about to close. I saw one of the female staff and approached her asking for a help. She said she can’t help me because it is clocked out now. Understandable but i just needed someone to bear witness that if i come tomorrow, i would get my money back. She went inside to grab her manager i think. The manager Instead of giving a reassurance he closed the door at me and slides this visiting card i guess, from under the door. I was so shocked. What a service.
  I went straight into the branch the next day, and they told me that 'they had procedures for this sort of thing and that it would be sorted out the next day'. I still hadn’t received the money into my account OVER A WEEK!! I received my money after a week though but after a lots of calls and email.
  
  I was a bit worried they have just stolen my money. Has anyone been through this process before? shouldn't the money have been credited to my account once the reconciliation was done at the end of the night by the machine. I would never recommend that someone deposit a large amount of cash in westpac ATM. Just never. If something goes wrong, you have no human on the other side to help you.

  Westpac, I just got off the phone with your branch manager at Miranda westfield branch. Shame on you to make 2 elders line up 3 times at the counter. Then ask to wait a further 1 hour while not even try and help to understand what the 2 elders were asking. Quoting your values as a bank and the individual staff member who suppose to embody this.

  Simple - Inspired to keep it simple and easy
  
  It is amazing to see that you have achieved none of these at all!
  Shame on you and the branch staff member who showed so little care and effort.
