  Buyer Beware - The want to know you with a fistful of money but not if there is a problem!!!‎ - ‎ - Today
  I have been dealing with Hervey Norman for over 3 months now trying to track down a receipt (not originally supplied) through Carringbah's hervey Norman for a sale of over $4,000 as I have an fault with my laptop
  They keep passing the buck by first telling me to go through the local store. I turned up to the local store which is a 5 hour round trip! with my computer under my arm to be told that is incorrect. I have been bounced backwards and forwards between stores and departments, been told the receipt has been sent which it hadn't and then... The computer is now out of warranty and they won't accept ANY responsibility!!
  I have NOW once the computer is out of warranty found out
  I could have dealt with HP direct as all sales are registered with them. meaning I never required the receipt however after numerous phone calls and visits this information was never offered to me!!
  I specifically asked for Hervey Norman to supply my insurance claim I understood you go through a retailer in case of any issues or problems they help you sort them out and to support local business.. not the case with Carringbah Harvey Norman...Go direct or go through someone else!!!
  i am still waiting for a call from their manager... I doubt I will ever get it.
